Writing For The Hollywood Traveler
Can you find adventure in your back yard?
If your answer is yes, we may have a way for you to share that adventure with others and get paid for doing so.
We are looking for both experienced and amateur writers to write articles for this site. TheHollywoodTraveler.com is the first in a series of local guides from The Travelers World Inc.
The articles must be written about Hollywood, Florida and the surrounding towns of Dania and Hallandale.
We will have sections on night life, dining out, family events, historical sights, Arts and Entertainment and beach, etc. Each writer will have their projects posted in their own blog. We will be seeking paid advertising from local merchants and also have Google ads on the articles. Revenue from the advertising will be shared with the writer. The percentage (to be determined) will be based on ratings supplied by the readership. We will either provide photos for the article or will use those supplied by the author.
The author retains complete ownership of the article and can be used else where. We do ask that articles that first appear on our site have a mention in the byline. We will also provide the same for articles that have appeared in other publications first.
We retain the right to use the article, in part, or in whole for any promotional purpose including posting on article directory sites and other travel related sites for the purpose of driving traffic to our site. Any revenue derived from such use will be remitted to the original author. The authors byline will appear in all such uses, however.
We are looking for writers who will write articles on spec and we also will accept other pieces, not solicited, if suitable. We will be creating an amateurs section where anyone can post an article, create a blog or even a picture gallery. These sections will not receive compensation. However, should a writer produce quality work, we will offer a commission.
